What to Expect
Day 1, Marrakech (arrival): Received by trip leader/guide. Time to rest and first introduction to the Medina.
Day 2, Marrakech: Explore: Bahia Palace, Secret Garden, El-Badi Palace, Dar El-Bacha and more.
Day 3, Cross Atlas to Ouarzazate (240 km): Cross Atlas via Tizi N'Tichka (2260m). Visit Ksar Ait-Ben-Haddou (UNESCO, famous movie set). Arrive Ouarzazate ("Moroccan Hollywood").
Day 4, Ouarzazate to Dades (120 km): East along Atlas foothills on the "road of the 1000 Kasbah". Pass Skoura and Kelaa M'Gouna (valley of roses). Reach Dades Gorges.
Day 5, Dades to Merzouga (250 km): Visit Tinghir oases, Todra Gorges (300m cliffs). Head to Merzouga at the beginning of the Sahara, 20km from Algeria. Climb Erg Chebbi dunes.
Day 6, Merzouga: Rest day with desert experiences.
Day 7, Merzouga to Tarmigte (370 km): Through Rissani, Nkoub, along the Draa Valley (longest palm grove in Morocco).
Day 8, Cross Atlas to Marrakesh (240 km): Drive back to Marrakech via an older north-south route.
Day 9, Marrakesh: Free day to explore the Medina.
Day 10, Marrakesh (departure): Airport transfer.

- All accommodation in Riads and Kasbahs
- Meals: all breakfasts and dinners south of the Atlas Mountain
- Assistance by tour leader (from Lisbon), who is also your guide

- You need a valid passport for a minimum of 6 months
- Bring all medicine if you have medical conditions
- Please advise of any allergies or dietary restrictions
- It is forbidden to bring any kind of drones into Morocco
- Bring comfortable shoes/boots, loose clothing, sunscreen, and a camera
