Terms & Conditions

1. Contracting Parties

These terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between T.U.T. Travel, Lda (TakingUThere), RNAAT nº 340/2013 | RNAVT nº 4266, registered at Rua de Campolide, nº27 – 4º esq., Lisboa 1070-026, and the client making a tour booking.

2. Bookings

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the agreed deposit payment. TakingUThere will confirm the booking in writing (email). The contract between the parties is established upon written booking confirmation.

3. Payment

Specific payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking. The full balance is generally due before the tour start. Prices are expressed in euros (€) and include the services described in each tour.

4. Client Cancellations

In the event of client cancellation, the following conditions apply (unless stated otherwise in the booking confirmation):

• Cancellation more than 30 days in advance: full deposit refund
• Cancellation between 15 and 30 days: 50% refund of total value
• Cancellation less than 15 days prior: no refund

5. TakingUThere Cancellations

TakingUThere reserves the right to cancel a tour due to force majeure, adverse weather conditions, or insufficient participant numbers (group tours). In such cases, the client will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.

6. Liability

TakingUThere operates with civil liability insurance as required by Portuguese tourism legislation. Our liability is limited to services directly provided by us. We recommend all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance.

7. Health & Safety

Clients are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for the chosen tour. Please inform us of any relevant health conditions or special needs at the time of booking. TakingUThere reserves the right to exclude participants from activities that may endanger their safety or that of others.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
